Nurse Corps Officer
Duties and Responsibilities:
Organize resources for patients and their families for help with inpatient, outpatient and home care
Command a shift on a nursing unit that is part of a field hospital or for an installation medical activity
Supervise all nursing care during your shift at all levels of command
Salary:
$5,000 a year for a 1-year contract;
$10,000 a year for a 2-year contract;
$15,000 a year for a 3-year contract; or
$20,000 a year for a 4-year contract.
Requirements:
Active duty and Army Reserve must have a bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited school.
Demand:
for this profession i think that yes we do need more because their is many people working for the military who need medical help
Do you think you’d like to be one: it's really interesting. I would consider it but it is too much work and people put all their effort to help the sick people or who get injured for such little pay so no.
